FOLIO№1
About · Issue №1

The gallery, unframed.

FOLIO is a marketplace for museum-grade archival prints. We reproduce the works people actually love and make them ownable, as numbered and open editions printed to order.

01 — Why

Most of the canon lives in a few buildings. We think it should also live on your wall.

A reproduction will never be the original, and it isn't trying to be. What it can be is honest, beautiful, and built to last: faithful color, real paper, archival ink, and a number that says exactly which print in the edition you hold. We started FOLIO to close the distance between the work and the people who love it, at a price that doesn't require an auction paddle.

Make work. Keep the majority.

Living artists and estates can sell open or limited editions through FOLIO and keep the majority of every sale. You set the edition size and price; we handle printing, fulfilment, payments, and shipping. Issue №1 is stocked with 20 open-access masterworks from 16 artists to show the format — contemporary work joins next.
